What does planning actually mean:

Preparing and gathering an idea of a production before publishing.

Getting ready for an event your going to complete

Example for planning:

Planning to go to the cinema with friends (organize travel, food and film tickets)

Reason why people plan when making media production:

So they can gather an understanding of what their project can look like

To make sure everything is organized, you have recourses and everything runs smoothly

Planning factors:

• Budget - cost of everything
• Time constraints - overall deadline
• Target audience - age, gender, demographic
• Funding - crowd funding, sponsors, cooperate funding
• Legal and ethical issues - copyright, slander, libel
• Advertising
• Staffing - people working on project
• Regulatory bodies - government organization(BBFC)

1. Website security (prevent hacking and make sure users private information is safe)

2. Website layout (everything's placed effectively for both use and style)

2a) Two costs when developing an app and how the costs impact the project:

One cost when developing the 247Me app would be staffing for moderation. This is important for preventing misuse of the app but will impact the project as these people will need to be hired full time.

Another cost when developing the 247Me app would be equipment. Equipment is needed for producing and developing the app and will impact the project as hardware is expensive and will need to be replaced when broken.
